Studio Based, (Broken Bone, Broken Lives, 2015)

Broken Bones, Broken Lives, 2015
In the early days of my photography education I firstly began to look at portraiture and concentrate on the human figure and how to use the shapes and movements of the body to create an aestically pleasing composition in the image. this lead to a variety of exprimentation with different lighting and in-camera techniques to create an eary atmosphere. I focused one part of my project on a gas mask theme, this project was shot around remembrance day, therefore i wanted to combine the aspect of war with the elegance of the human figure, this resulted in one of my most self-pleasing sets of work.
